It is not uncommon that people throw away food with other trash. This is illegal in Korea for environmental, economic and sanitary reasons. The important thing to note is you have to throw away food only into containers approved by government.
✔ 배출 방법
음식물쓰레기 전용용기에 음식물 쓰레기를 담고 음식물쓰레기 스티커를 편의점에서 구매해서 붙인다.(용기의 크기별로 다름)
You shoud buy a food waste container and an official sticker.
You can buy these at convenience store such as Seven eleven, GS25, Emart24 and so on.
✔ 배출 요일 / 시간
월수금 밤 8시 ~ 새벽2시
(Monday, Wednesday, Friday / 8 PM ~ 2 AM)
Food waste must be put out between 20:00 and 06:00.
✔ 배출 장소
Put food waste in a container attached sticker and leave by entrance of building
